On the occasion of the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out, Maison Martin Margiela has decided to create a special edition of the AIDS T-shirt in white cotton with white luorescent text, making it readable at night.
The AIDS T-shirt has been part of the Maison Martin Margiela collections since Autumn/Winter 1994/1995. Every season, the T-shirt is produced in different colours with the text: „THERE IS MORE ACTION TO BE DONE TO FIGHT AIDS THAN TO WEAR THIS T-SHIRT BUT IT’S A GOOD START“. A percentage of the sales is donated to the French association AIDES.
